Brown Venetian Blinds
Brown Wooden or Aluminium Venetian Blinds
Made to measure brown venetian blinds will always be popular as long as we continue to make our windows from wood. If you are lucky enough to have varnished feature hardwood windows or stained feature softwood windows then you will probably want a window covering that will blend in with those lovely natural tones and textures of wood and a brown venetian blind will be perfect for that. However brown venetian blinds are not just for those with feature wooden windows, (or UPVC for that matter). Browns at the window works well in any room with neutral colours such as creams and whites as well as with all the natural colour tones that are popular at the moment. If you are using natural woods or leathers in your interior design scheme then a brown blind as your window covering may be just the thing to complete your look. Add green potted plants or indoor trees which will help develop that natural feel to a room.
Today most customers purchasing brown window blinds are opting for wood blinds as they have never been more affordable. Made to measure wooden blinds are available in many tones of natural wood from the lightest pine, through to the almost black ebony and including all tones such as walnut, oak and mahogany in between. Painted finishes in matt and gloss are also available. As well as being able to choose from the wide range of different shades that are available, with many wooden venetian blinds you have the option of different slat sizes as well as having the option of colour matching or colour contrasting ladder tapes. Therefore make sure you have a good look round at all the different combinations on offer before you decide what would be perfect for your window. Brown wooden blinds will work with many different interior design schemes and make an economic alternative to plantation style shutters if that is the look you are after.
One word of caution about wooden venetian blinds though is that if you are planning a window covering for a window in a high moisture environment such as a kitchen or a bathroom then you are usually best steering clear of natural wood blinds. If it is a wood grain finish that you definitely want then as an alternative you should consider the imitation wood grain finishes that are available in the ranges of aluminium venetians. These finishes are usually also available from light pine colour tones through to the darkest wood tones.
If a wood or wood grain finish is not important or not what you want for your venetian blind then there are many tones of brown in various shades from the lightest tan to dark chocolate. For many tones of brown aluminium venetian blinds you can often choose whether to have the finish of the slats in a polished gloss or a smooth matt. In our brown venetian blind range there are also some metallic colours with pearlescent lustres which give finishes like precious metals such as gold, bronze and copper.
